Q and U.... Stick Like Glue!!

Tossing quarters, asking/answering questions, patterning a quilt, building Q and q with blocks, and being creative with Q-tips are a few activities we have used to enhance our knowledge of the letter Qq. Germs were another hot topic last week, with emphasis on hand washing and techniques to lessen the spread of germs.

Some of you may have noticed a familiar face back in the building. Miss Kassie has returned to complete her final practicum of student teaching before she graduates from her program. Her role in the classroom will be a little more involved this semester, including the creation and implementation of many lesson plans. She will also take the role as lead teacher during one week in April. We look forward to watch her grow along with us this semester.
_____________

Our Father Who Art In Heaven
Hallowed Be Thy Name
Thy Kingdom Come
Thy Will Be Done
On Earth As It Is In Heaven
Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread
And Forgive Us Our Trespasses
As We Forgive Those Who Trespass Against Us
Lead Us Not Into Temptation
But Deliver Us From Evil
For Thine Is The Kingdom
The Power And The Glory
Forever And Ever. Amen!

Can you name this prayer?

Prayer was also a focus last week and it has been a blessing seeing the kids think of so many things we can pray for and be thankful for.
How sweet is it to know, that your child is praying for you!
Last week we created a prayer journal and each child added a page that included a prayer. We prayed for sick moms and friends, thanked God for Jesus and our toys, and even celebrated Jesus' victory over the cross.
