We each had an important role in making our applesauce today!
Mrs. Angie was the slicer and we were the choppers!
Each of us had a plastic butter knife that we used to chop each apple slice that got added to our pot of applesauce. We did awesome!! For some of us, it took a couple of tries to coordinate the back and forth motion of the knife, but once we got it, many, many apple slices were chopped!
Once chopped, we each sprinkled in a dash of Cinnamon and a 1/4 teaspoon of sugar. Next it was time to mix and pour into the pot! And then we waited... but waiting was a lot of fun because we spent time at centers and outside until the applesauce was ready for eating!
What a fun morning!!
